Description
Step into the heart of Maui at Kaʻehu, a vibrant community-based restoration and cultural education site in Wailuku. This immersive program invites students to explore the rich history, traditions, and natural beauty of Kaʻehu while learning to mālama (care for) the land and ocean. Through hands-on experiences rooted in Hawaiian values, students will develop a deeper understanding of the delicate balance between people and ʻāina (land) and kai (ocean), connecting to both the environment and cultural practices that have sustained Hawaiʻi for generations.
