5th Grade Winterim

This special grade-level program is all about discovery, teamwork, and fun—no selections are needed. The 5th grade will travel together each day to different locations across the island, enjoying a variety of unique activities:
Northshore Zipline Adventure & WWII Museum
Students will explore the historic WWII base and museum before taking on a thrilling eco-adventure through the jungle. They’ll test their agility on an obstacle course, learn about local history, and experience a slice of Hawaiian life by “going with the flow” in a truly memorable setting. (Participants must weigh at least 40 lbs)
Maui Ocean Center
Led by a knowledgeable Marine Naturalist, students will discover the wonders of our ocean environment, learning fascinating facts about reef fish, live coral, invertebrates, and other marine life that call Hawaiʻi’s waters home.
Maui Golf & Sports Park
Outdoor fun is always in season at Maui’s only family entertainment center! Students will enjoy attractions like mini golf, bumper boats, rock climbing, and a bungee trampoline—an unforgettable day of laughter and adventure.
Beach Day
To round out the week, students will spend a day by the ocean filled with games, a sandcastle competition, a beach clean-up, and ocean safety lessons. Certified lifeguards will be on duty.
This Winterim experience is exclusively for the Class of 2033, offering them a wonderful opportunity to bond as a class while learning about Maui’s natural and cultural treasures.
