Step into the natural and cultural landscape of Hawaiʻi Island. Students will spend several days living and learning together at Keawaiki Bay, staying in rustic cabins and exploring the island’s coastal environments through hands-on activities, snorkeling, and excursions that highlight the area’s natural and cultural history.
Students will also participate in a community service project helping to clean a local fishpond, connecting their experience to the importance of mālama ʻāina and caring for Hawaiʻi’s natural resources.
Throughout the trip, students will build teamwork and independence while developing a deeper understanding of Hawaiʻi Island’s environment, culture, and our shared responsibility to care for the places we call home.
