Description
Take to the air in this exciting four-day Aerial Arts Winterim Intensive at Maui Aerial Arts! Students will explore the fundamentals of aerial performance while building strength, grace, and confidence. Under expert guidance, participants will learn a variety of aerial disciplines—including silks, hammock, dance trapeze, lyra, and a specialty apparatus—and work toward creating their own original routine. The week culminates in a student showcase where families are invited to watch and celebrate each performer’s progress.
Highlights
Hands-on instruction in multiple aerial disciplines: silks, hammock, dance trapeze, lyra, and one specialty apparatus
Guided skill development focused on safety, strength, and artistry
Daily sessions from 8:30 am – 2:30 pm with two short breaks and a 30-minute lunch
Creation of a 3–4 minute individual aerial performance piece
Final performance for families on Thursday, February 12 at 2:00 pm
Opportunity for photos and celebration at the end of the session
Transportation
Seabury will provide transportation if needed. Students are allowed to be dropped off by 8:30 am and picked up by 2:20pm at the location.
